"Ignite" received support from 130+ stations!
The track peaked at #29 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 Indicator Chart in the US.
"Ignite" received major market airplay in Chicago, San Francsico, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Detroit, Seattle, etc.
Skye Holland's music video for "Ignite" was added to rotation on ClubCom in North America and was seen by tens of millions of viewersat Good Life Fitness, Gold's Gym, Planet Fitness, LA Fitness and many more.
August 26, 2013 - Sophia's new song Carry Me Home has been added on Mix 97 (CIGL) in Belleville ON and 91.1 (CINN) FM in Hearst ON. A music video is in the works. In Southeast Asia, Turn To You is up again to #22 on the Creative Disc Top 50 Chart and #2 on the Star Radio Padang "Star 25 Countdown". Favorit FM has added the song, and Radio Gaya is supporting it too.
ScreenPlay, Inc in Seattle WA has added the Superhero music video to their library for NightLife October, so it will be shown at 100+ venues such as casinos and sportsclubs. Star Digio, Japan's largest satellite TV/radio (100+ channels, owned by Sky Perfect), has added the Superhero song, as have 105.5 FM (KKKJ) in Klamath Falls OR, FM 92.7 (KGBR) in Gold Beach OR, and Blazin 100 in The Philippines. WIKD 102.5 in Daytona Beach FL, Z103 (KFTZ) in Idaho Falls ID, Hot Jamz Radio in the Netherlands, 89.3 FM (KOHL) in Fremont CA, and 105.7 The Jet (KJET) in Aberdeen WA are all supporting it too.
August 19, 2013 - Superhero has been added by 101.1 (KWCA) in Redding CA and 97.7 (CHSR) in Fredericton NB, with additional support fromZ102.9 (KZIA) in Iowa. Turn To You is now at #27 on the Creative Disc Top 50 Chart, #3 at Soka Radio Jember, and #3 on the Star 25 Countdown, in addition to adds at RadioBFM, and Radio Kampus ITB.
August 12, 2013 - This past weekend Sophia had successful shows in Kamloops and Kelowna BC. Check out the articles written about her in the Kelowna Daily Courier and the Kamloops News. The Superhero video is getting great response, including from ZUUS Media, ZOOM Media, YTV, MYX TV, and now Musique Plus, French-Canada's national music video channel.
August 5, 2013 - Pacific Northwest radio support continues to grow, this week with an add for Superhero at Y-105 (KVTY) in Lewiston, ID and adds for Carry Me Home at the reporting stations Q103 (Kelowna BC) and The River 97.5 (Kamloops BC). Turn To You has now been added by Phoenix Radio Bali, 101.7 Mas FM Kebumen, and 104.6 RadioBFM, jumping to #37 on the Creative Disc Top 50 Chart.
July 29, 2013 - Superhero has been added to ZUUS Media, a groundbreaking satellite music video multi-channel network serving 2000 fitness venues in the US. Sophia & A-Lo's track also received an add at Dial Global, which syndicates radio programming and services to thousands of radio stations throughout the United States. It received adds at 98FM (KLDR) in Oregon, ZFun 106 (KZFN) and 101.5 Cat FM (KATW) in Idaho, and 94.5 Roxy (KRXY) in Washington. The song also got a spin at 89.5 FM (KOPN) in Missouri.
Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia, the ballad Turn To You has received support from over 20 stations so far, with adds at OZ Radio, CDBS Bali, Bimantara FM, Radio Paduka 100.6FM, M Radio Kendari, Istara 101.1 FM, and Rama Bondowoso and spins at Ardan Bandung, Momea Palembang, Cassanova Bali, Madama Makassar, Elfara Malang, Gajahmada Semarang, Visi Medan, Piss Ciamis, Cirebon FM, Kayu Agung, M Radio Martapura, Istara Surabaya, Kiss Jember, Bee Bekasi, Rase Bandung, UTY Jogya, and DCS Madiun. The song jumped from #48 to #42 on the Creative Disc Top 50 Chart.
July 19, 2013 - Teaming up with song-writer/producer Troy Samson (Kelly Rowland, Victoria Duffield, Cody Simpson) and song-writer/producer Steve Kroeger (A-Lo, MTV creeps) Sophia has brought another radio ready single to the table. Carry Me Home brings together all of the elements of a great summer track bridging the HotAC/Top40 and AC formats. 105.3 Kiss FM (CISS) in Ottawa led the way supporting it on the radio. July 12, 2013 - The Philippines' largest music video channel, MYX TV, has added Superhero. In Manila, Monster Radio 93.1 has added the track, and so has RCIM in Cap-St-Ignace QC, our first web-stream radio in French Canada.
July 5, 2013 - CD RELEASE & LIVE CONCERTS in KELOWNA and KAMLOOPS, AUGUST 9-10 - Sophia and Santa Clara from Victoria will be teaming up with Okanagan locals The Faceplants for two all-ages shows: Friday the 9th at the Kelowna Community Theatre and Saturday the 10th at the Pavillion Theatre in Kamloops, as Sophia launches her new CD, Live4Love.
